Karen has been in business in New Zealand for over thirty years. Her experience includes Tourism, Retailing, Publishing and Restaurant Franchising. 

As the Owner of Trade Media Ltd (publisher of Drinksbiz magazine), Karen uses her experience in developing award winning businesses to take New Zealand's top liquor magazine to new heights. 

As a long term resident of Lake Hayes near Queenstown, Karen is able to pursue her leisure interest of fitness on hiking tracks of the Wakatipu. She has a passion for charity, and is an active supporter of local and national charities, including the Child Cancer Foundation.

Roger Pierce

Managing Director

Formerly a partner in an international firm of Chartered Accountants, Roger Pierce has experience in a wide range of New Zealand businesses.

Roger is responsible for the overall management of Trade Media Ltd (the owner of Drinksbiz), including advertising sales and client relationships.

Victoria Wells

Editor

Victoria Wells is an award-winning journalist with 19 years of experience in magazines, online and radio. She was the editor of Dish magazine for seven years, where she wrote extensively about food, wine, beer, spirits and everything in-between.

With a passion for craft beer, a love of chardonnay, and a conviction there is no problem a well-made cocktail cannot solve, Victoria is delighted to edit a magazine dedicated to the best the drinks business has to offer.
