Bluff Distillery sweeps The Gin Guide Awards
Bluff Distillery has won big at The Gin Guide Awards in London – sweeping a range of categories and being named ‘Product of the Year 2025’.
The Gin Guide Awards are the world's largest independent gin awards, attracting hundreds of entries from more than 30 countries.
Bluff Distillery’s London Dry Gin was named Best Gin from New Zealand and Best Gin from Australasia in the blind tasting process by a judging panel of gin distillers, spirits buyers, mixologists and other industry experts.
It was a winner in the Contemporary Gin (over 42% ABV) category, the Design & Branding Category, and the Martini Cocktail category.
The New Zealand gin also won the title ‘Product of the Year 2025’, which is awarded to: “the gin most successfully combining award-winning design and branding with an exceptional spirit inside the bottle. This is the gin which has achieved the highest combined score from its blind tasting category together with the Design & Branding category.”
These awards follow a Gold medal at the recent San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Bluff Distillery co-founder and distiller Chris Fraser says the results are a thrill. “We were pretty blown away as all the categories rolled in, to pick up so many categories and then one of the big awards is huge for us…[it] gives us the validation that we’re on the right track and helps as we take our Bluff story to the world.”
