Expert line-up for WinePro in Blenheim

The conference programme for major wine industry event WinePro has been released and features experts in the fields of tech, environment, labour, the future of the industry and more.

WinePro will be held in Blenheim from June 25-27 at Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000. It will combine more than 70 suppliers and indoor and outdoor exhibits along with an industry-led conference with discussions on emerging trends, sustainable practices and technological advancements.

Companies involved in WinePro include Chandler Glass and Packaging, Grapeworks NZ, Hydralada, Olavin and Winequip. The event has strong industry support from Marlborough Council, New Zealand Wine, Bragato, AgriTech NZ and Marlborough Wine.

Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year 2024, Dr Jim Salinger, will address climate resilience in viticulture, while other conference speakers will address a wide range of topics including AI in wine, vineyard redevelopment, paper bottles for wines and spirits, sustainable alternatives for fining, automation in agriculture, and understanding future wine industry workforce challenges, among others.
