Negroni Week underway with Campari
Campari NZ is bringing a week of activations across the country as New Zealand joins the global celebrations for Negroni Week, held around the world from September 22 to 28.
This year’s programme brings together some of the country’s best bars, bartenders, and Negroni enthusiasts, offering a week-long series of events that celebrates the drink’s heritage and versatility.
Campari has also created a Negroni Week events map of the various happenings around the country.
“We see Negroni Week as more than just a celebration of a great drink – it’s a way to unite and energise the bartending community,” says Phil Restall Managing Director of Campari NZ.
Negroni Week features tasting events, bartender-led masterclasses, and curated experiences, offering opportunities for both seasoned fans and first-time drinkers to connect with the history of the iconic cocktail.
Social and digital content will share recipes, bartender tips, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Negroni Week supports the global Slow Food movement, meaning every Negroni contributes to a worthy cause. Restall adds, “Every Negroni poured also supports Slow Food giving the week a greater purpose. It’s a celebration of craft, community, and giving back – values we are proud to champion.”
