New culinary festival for Auckland
A new culinary festival designed to showcase dining experiences around Auckland has been announced, with venues encouraged to register interest ahead of the November event.
‘Auckland Feast powered by Mastercard’ has been developed by Lemongrass Productions and will run from 12-22 November.
The new multi-precinct culinary festival will kick off with a launch party on Thursday 12 November, followed by 10 days of special spring menus, events and alfresco dining experiences across the city.
Hospitality venues, chefs, producers and partners interested in participating are encouraged to register their interest via the website ahead of the full programme launch in the coming weeks. Tickets will go on sale from 1 October 2026.
Owner of The French Café, Sid Sahrawat, says, “We have such a strong food scene in Auckland and I think sometimes we forget just how good it is. There are incredible chefs, producers and restaurants right across the city, and Feast gives us an opportunity to celebrate that and encourage people to get out and experience more of it.
“We’re looking forward to opening up the courtyard at The French Cafe during Feast and showcasing some of the great local producers we work with. Hopefully, over time, Feast can grow into something that people travel to Auckland for and become a real celebration of our food scene.”
