NZ Cider Festival back for 2026

The New Zealand Cider Festival is set to return to Nelson in November for a showcase of the country’s cider industry.

Now entering its 11th year, the New Zealand Cider Festival will be held at Founder’s Heritage Park on Saturday 14 November.

Festival Director Shelley Haring says it has firmly established itself as New Zealand’s premier cider event, attracting visitors from across the country to experience the diverse flavours, innovation, and craftsmanship of New Zealand’s thriving cider industry.

“The New Zealand Cider Festival is all about celebrating the people behind the products, supporting New Zealand producers, and creating a fantastic day out for locals and visitors alike. We’re proud to offer an event that combines outstanding cider, great entertainment, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.”

Shelley Haring says the Festival will offer a wide range of ciders from producers throughout New Zealand, alongside craft beer, wine, and cider cocktails. New Zealand band Sonar Flare will headline the event.
