NZIWS still open for entries ahead of 2022 judging

The New Zealand International Wine Show is still accepting entries ahead of its scheduled judging in February 2022.

Wine Show Convenor Kingsley Wood says the close-off for entries is January 20th, with samples required in the following week. Entry details are available on the NZIWS website.

He says with no Royal Easter Wine Awards running in February it provides wineries the opportunity to submit wines that may not have been ready for the original NZIWS judging dates in September.

The NZIWS judging, led by Chief Judge Bob Campbell MW, will now take place from February 2-4, COVID-permitting.

An Awards Event has also been scheduled for Auckland on February 25th.

The New Zealand International Wine Show, now in its 17th year, has been the biggest wine competition in the country since its inception.
